I have a 6hp v twin mercury serial number 2383121. Can someone please tell me what year model it is?

That's an oldie but goodie. It's a 1968 model.

Thanks for the info. This motor was given to me, has a couple problems, I believe mostly from sitting and not being ran. The guy that give it to me said that it was a very dependable little motor back when he had time to fish. Now he has his priorities all wrong and works all the time and doesn't hardly fish. What is wrong with people who say they don't time to fish?
