Tree got in the way of the front end?
I was told some horror $ stories by a couple of dealers (techs), so I am doing it myself. I am no mechanic, but apparently they ain't either.
I made a lot of measurements up front and determined the right steering knuckle was bent. I have replaced it, but doing so, I lost about a 1/2 pint of blood and exhausted my 4 letter word vocabulary. So now how to align the front?
Do I make inside rim measurements for equal distances? How critical is the setting?
Thanx
Tom
The easiest way to align the front end is to measure from front inside rim to front inside rim. Than back inside rim to back inside rim. Make sure they are both the same, adjust accordingly. That should work fine for a quad.
