Default Where can I buy rivets?

Anybody know where I can buy solid aluminum rivets to fix my jon boat. I did the google search and a bunch came up. I called a few places and they are all manufactures who only sell comercially in large quantities. I called two different fastenal stores and they were unable to help me either. Please helpThanks

Have you tried a aluminum boat dealer? Make sure they sell riveted boats, not welded. Look for dealers of Lund, Starcraft, Smoker Craft, or Sylvan to name a few.

here is a web site for rivets never used them

Rivets - rivet guns - copper rivets - rivet tools - rivet nuts - Jay Cee Sales and Rivet Inc

when you go to install your rivets be sure to get nome kind of water proof sealant silicone would work and dip you rivet shafts in them before you install them and make sure you install them wet it will give you a better seal when you finish

oh and another thing if you can find a small airport that does mechanic work they would probaly sell you a pound of rivets

Try a large truck repair shop as most large trucks are riveted. If you know someone who works in a large shop use huck bolts.
