    Default 2 cycle or 4?

I am needing some help, I have a 1994 50hp Evinrude (2 carb's), I am needing to know if it is a 2 or 4 cycle engine. The reason I ask is for oil purpose. I am leaning toward it being a 2 stroke but I just want to make sure. If anyone can let me know and maybe explain to me why it is that way that would be great.
