    Default Trailer tire wear

Got my trailer bunks replaced, now I've noticed that my tires seem to be wearing on the inside. Axle, leaf springs, and hubs were all replaced a little over a year ago. What would be the cause, other than an inflation issue?

Too much camber maybe. Are tires bias or radial? Probably not a inflation issue as over inflation wears middle of tire and under inflation wears both edges.

You can take the trailer to an alignment shop and they can probably take care of it.

Inside wear is most likely an overloaded axle. Could also be loose bearings or both spindles bent.

Yup I got one of my tires that always eats up the inside of the tire been that since I bought it new takes about 1 year to notice on mine. Axle doesn’t look bent I plan on taking it off soon and check it out good. I think it’s from hitting pot holes

My tires are wearing only the inside tread also. I talked to an alignment shop he said that he could adjust the camber by bending the axle, but I have not had time to bring it in yet.

I go with the Axle too small -- especially if it is a big Fiberglass boat with a big motor -- the axle has a bend to match the crown in the road -- too much the tire wears on the outside... not enough the inside -- bent from Potholes will have cupping on the Tire, And looks like bearings that are loose
