Thread: Black splotchy spray stuff sprayed over white gelcoat

PICS don't understand "black splochy stuff"

Could you shoot us a picture? If it is what I think it is, they do that on white interiors to help break up the reflection of the sun. Trying to keep from burning you up. Learned that from a boat builder in Florida years ago. They took a spry gun loaded with paint and set it on low pressure where you had a small stream flowing and just kind of dribbled it onto the floor and interior.

Cray thats exactly what it is. I should have been more specific but I was not, sorry about that guys.
I'm going to gel coat where old leaning post was mounted on floor as I bought a new one. Wanted to spray some black onto the new white gelcoat to kinda match surrounding floor so it's not 2 bright white shiny spots. Cray thanks a million. I'll try to upload some pics.
