Hello all
Hello everybody, I am new to this site and also new to crappie fishing. This is a great website I am sure I can learn a lot here.
I live in Boston area, start thinking about fishing for crappie. I am wondering...is there any hot crappie spot around Boston area, like great boston/cambridge/arlington/medford/somerville...area?
Now in the spring run, what kind of crappie jig or lure is good for them?
Any suggestion would be appreciated! thanks!

White or chartreuse jigs are good in the spring. small beetle spins are good. Minnows are always a good standby with number 4 hook and slip shot. Any water between 15 feet to the bank are good in the spawn. Look for water temps in the 65 to 75 degree range in the spring.
