Thread: Anyone else get out for some fishing yesterday??

The wind was BRUTAL, the rain was tolerable, but it was our first day over 60 degrees, so I just had to get out. Didn't pick up any crappies, but caught some bass and a pickerel (see pics below). I caught 1 of the bass on a spilt-shotted zoom super fluke and the other 2 on a black trick worm and giggy head jig. Caught the pick on a giggy head and gulp alive minnow.

Ahhh man, i waited ALL winter for this. Funny how my wife and i didn't bicker with each other today and more chores seemed to get done around the house :D

Here's a few more my friend and I caught yesterday at the same spot. The bite was rather sluggish and the fish were just picking the bait up and dropping it. Had to fish my soft plastics very slooooow with long pauses.
