New limits for MD Freshwater on Crappie
Had DNR guy come up to me and explain the new limit on freshwater crappie is now 15 and 30 in aggregate.
But I fish tidal and the limit is 24 hidden way down in the regs.. But on my boat it has always been 12 per person..

I think 15 would be good for tidal also we been catching big numbers but keeping only a very few to eat. But some people would keep every single one, 15 is plenty per person. Is the river thawing out for ya yet?

The officer that checked all of us the other day told me the the tidal limit was 50?
I'm like you guys keep a dozen or so and that should do it. Plus any more than that, you cut into your beer time cleaning them......:D

It was thawed out yesterday and I must say all talk and no play makes for a gloomy day..
