Default Pretty good crappie fishing 12-6-17

Cold windy morning yesterday but the fishing was good. I fished 7:00 to 8:30 and stopped at 9 good size crappie. Well good size for me anyway. Caught on little lure in picture. The three crappie are all different fish. A five gallon bucket is 12" across the top.Name: 12-6-17 (2).JPG

Nice work Andy. I need to get over to the ES this year. Last year we had that Algae Bloom in Joppatowne that killed all kinds of fish. I've only got a handful of crappie this year there so far. But I keep trying, thinking they will come back sooner or later. Looks like it will be later.

Way to go Andy. Nice fatties. First Middle river fish kill then Gunpowder. Guess I have to put some miles on my truck.

Yes, come on over Mike. It has been slow fishing for me over a week now, but it should pick up soon. Maybe this morning. The Federalsburg Marina is froze over. The Marshy Hope Creek is still open.
