I went on a last min. expermental trip this AM. , wide awake at 5:30 I decided to go try a spot real close to my house that we haven't fished much for a few yrs. I also wanted to try out my new homemade t-bar rod holders that I made and both were a pleasent surprise. The rod holders worked great , I was trolling bobbers set 3 to 4 ft deep in 6 to 8 ft. of water with 4 rods , thought this would be a good way to search in water I haven't been in for awhile to locate some fish. Found 2 tight schools trolled around the better one picking up fish at a steady pace.Fished from 7 to 10 am got 14 crappie 2 right at 14'' , 1 12incher , the rest 10''-11'' also got 2 y.perch, a 9'' bluegill and 1 pickeral. Chart. twister and blue fin-s best lures. Home in time to cut grass ,clean fish and watch football. Oh yeah the water temp. was 52.
