    Default Water Temp Free Fall

Does this sound right? I went Sunday afternoon to the dammed up creek here in town. It is aobut 70 surface acres I believe. Water temp was 59.8 degrees according to depthfinder. Went yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) and it was 50.9.

Is it commonplace for water temps to drop that much over just 48 hours? Lows around here were just into the low 30's at night. 40's during the day monday and tuesday.

When you couple those temps with the wind that we have had the last 48 hours, it is possible.
