Default Some Slabs form the Golden State

The plan was to fish Perris in the morning for gills and chase the slabs in the the late evening at another lake. Bluegill fishing was slow when we first got there, but it pick up as the day went on. Most of the fish were on the smaller side, with a few grumps mixed in.

Largest gill of the day. Finish the gill fishing at 3:30pm, and met up with TPF for the evening slab section.

Larry was first to hook up. It was slow pickings until the sun was setting.

These were my two largest for today. The fishing was sick for about an hour.

Larry is one happy angler, when he gets them.

It was another great day of fishing with some of the boys, thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.
Gills were caught with crickets. The 3 of us caught over 30. Most fish were on the small side though.
The crappie were caught on crappie jigs or the small flukes, tip with crappie nibblets.
