    Just wanted to say high. I have a 1900xlvee norriscraft and I have been bass fishing mostly. But I want to start crappie fishing and take my kids to do it, so I came here. I fish Cherokee lake in tenn, so if any of you guys know some good spots please let me in ,lol.

    Welcome to the board. Plenty of information here to get you started. You may want to check out the Tn. state message board to inquire more on a particular lake in this case Cherokee.

    Welcome aboard from Upstate NY!

    I'm pretty sure I've seen posts from folks in your neck of the woods. one of them is bound to chime in and point you at some spots - heck, someone may even offer to show you where to get some slabs.

    Meantime, if you go to the Tennessee crappie forum and run a search on Cherokee Lake, You should find a few posts to get you started.
