    Default drowning crickets

Went Crappie fishing two of my three days off, but finally got to do
a little catching up with my Dad and the kids. Rode probably fifteen miles
up the waterway and used up the better part of 150 crickets

A little story about the two girl's pictures... Allison was a little put out
with me, I think it shows in the picture. Those of you who had bros or sis's
or more than one kid yourself will know where I'm coming from, I think -

She started off bullying, just generally being mean to little sis, SO -
when we started fishing, I was baiting Jonie's hook and helping her cast
in just the right place - AND the fish were tight in an eddy, and I was
keeping the back end of the boat positioned so Jonie had first shot at it...
After Jonie started off catching about 10 to her 1, Allison had her lip stuck out I am so mean... but she deserved it :D

Poor Allison. She was worried that Jonie might take HER spot with her Daddy, I imagine.

She has become quite the little angler and she knows Jonie has it in her genes too. It's awful hard to share Daddy's attention.

I think if I were big sis, I'd have done a lot worse....then got my arse whipped.

You have great kids Jeff. And, they have a good Daddy too!

Oh yes, I was 'the baby' but if it meant keeping up with Daddy, I would do it myself. The brother I fished with is the brother I am tightest with, we still fish and take 'our girls' out together. (valium recomended)
Make a real picture of that, 30 or 40 years later they will rememeber, and smile. LOTS.

Those are 3 beauties boat included. Would you consider a trade for a broke in tracker and a mean little 8 year old boy?

I think it's great to be able to enjoy kids like that. I just wish I had the patience to do it.
