95% jigs for me, but there’s a time and place for everything.

Jigs only for me too. Good job leaving them home, you'll do better soon.

I use mostly jigs but during the winter sometimes a minnow helps put fish in the boat.

I have to make the switch! My wife and I fish from bank using mostly night crawlers, we don't do so well.
She has no confidence in artificial where as I feel it's the way to go.
I think I'll just let her use her crawlers while a make a switch to the jigs, I want to catch more fish.
The proof is in the puddin.

Jeez, I've never even thought of using night crawlers for crappie. (maybe you don't either) But put a minnow on that girl's hook and see what happens!! haha

I still luv me some minners!

That is so true. Remember to use the garlic scent on the artificial lure. It will attract Crappie and mask your own hand scent ( gas, oils etc.) "Fish it slow and when you do, slow down some more." A wise man told me that same quote my friend.

Thanks yall for the advice and encouragement. I had Brian at BBG set me up this week and when I can actually locate some brush and fish, I'll definitely feel more confident throwing some jigs their way. I'm even starting to get the bug to pull some jigs.
