You colluded with the Russians! Just admit it!

Why have an official count them at all if it is going to be 2 hours before the weigh in and then the boats are left unattended? That's ridiculous.

It sounds like a lot of mistakes were made, and I can see both sides. First, you’re verified and trust that it’s all over but the weigh in. Second, it only involves seven crappie. My OCD alone would require me to count as they were bagged.

Because the Rules state that you can only bring 8 fish to the weigh-in. The weight in started at 4:30 the offical time that all had to be checked-in. All teams were weight-in by 6:00. If you got there early thats your decession. I have been at alot of tournaments that took longer than 2hrs.

Then they check the fish right before weigh in. I was helping run FLW bass tournaments back when it was still the Redman Tournament Trail. I've been around the block a time or two myself.

Don't think your supposed to have over 8 fish in live well when pulling your boat in the weighin line.Plus they have to check and make sure there alive I bet.We have had 20 in thr live well before at the weighin, but it wasn't a boat weighin and a crappieusa event, different rules

Here's one for you. Partner and I were running late to weigh in. Got the boat out of the water with 8 fish in the live well. Reached in and got out the best 5 easy enough Started looking at the other 3 to determine which ones to keep and put in the weigh in bag and only put in 1 and threw the other 2 back int o the live well. Got to the scales and dumped our fish and the weigh master said 6 fish. Oh No. Lucky enough we beat out 4 other teams that had 7 with only 6. Came in first place. That could have been a costly mistake. It did cost us at the end of the year totals Haven't lived it down yet.

Just my opinion but if I was going to cheat that wouldn't be the best way. I would think you would get caught more times than it would work. I'm thinking this was just a mistake that looks bad.
