Why did you go from the riptide to the terrova?

Trolling motor, go ahead and get the Ilink. Many folks told me they don't use the I link. I don't really understand that because I use mine every trip. Maybe it was because they were trying to sell me their "non" Ilink Terrova at the time . 859 ain't nothing to throw rocks at. You'll want a bird that will link to motor later though.

Yea I’m not looking to sale my 859, I’m going to use it upfront. I’m wanting a SI for my console to spot them hidden stake beds, on KY Lake that is very important. I’m probably going to save up and get me a trolling motor and try to find a used SI somewhere. Thanks for all of the comments guys!!

Exactly the reason I would do depth finder first, finding hidden beds on ky lake.If I could live with my trolling motor that is.

based on where you are putting the new graph I would go with the depth finder first. you need to find the beds and brush piles. then you need to figure out how to stay on the location.
