    Yep, same as regular motor. Just painted white with extra corrosion protection for salt water. Exact same motor. And yes I would give up all my finders before my terrova. Best tool on my boat.

    yes I have used the minn kota riptide with Ipilot and loved it !!! I sold the riptide and went to the ulterra and to my knowledge the guy I sold the riptide to is still using it and that's been 3 years now !!!

    If you crappie fish using any method other than single pole, buy a Minn Kota with IPilot. I can now do things that we're almost a disaster before the IPilot, while pulling or pushing cranks and jigs, or just spider rigging at a slow speed.
    Spot lock has saved me often, plus I have several other features.

    I spent what was for me a chunk of change for my riptide PD-V2 with auto pilot and so wish I had coughed the extra for the terrova with I Pilot. Definitely TM first, and call me when you want to upgrade from that 859, I'm interested.
