Love my save phace. If my forehead gets frozen on a longer run in real cold temps, I can look forward to a sinus infection. None since the kids bought me the save phace. Helmets that I looked at weren't clean enough for me to put on except for the new ones. Gotta keep the face and forehead out of the freezing wind.

Paintball mask. Works for cold or rain. I have used this up to 73 mph with zero issues.

I would pretty much have to know where a helmet came from before I decided if I would stick my melon in it. If you check motorcycle sites like Revzilla or Cycle Gear look at their discontinued helmets. I see them pretty often for $49 to $69. For what you are wanting it for the safety rating and such doesn't matter. If fogging up is ever an issue do a web search for a pinlock shield for helmets. I drag raced for years and ran dirt karts as well and never had a fogging issue. It's a small shield that attaches on the inside of your helmet shield and traps a small amount of air inside it which prevents it from fogging.

Hope you find a solution, a cold noggin isn't any fun.

I have un-tinted ski goggles i bought at Dicks sporting goods. Use them for cold duck hunting trips down the river. Work excellent and there not big and bulky like a helmet.

If your set on a motorcycle helmet, check Vega brand helmets, we used them when we raced go karts, if memory serves me right $60 for a full faced helmet is what they were 8 to 10yrs ago

PM me if you want a Save Phace. I have one I would sell for $25. Can't wear it over my glasses. Never used.
