    Default Big test Yesterday!

Well after 6 months of nursing my hand,I finally hit the water to find out how it would function.Correction, the water here is frozen,I hit the ice for some much needed therapy.
I had trouble drilling holes, and baiting the tiny hooks, but man oh man it felt refreshing to be fishing,oh yeah,I iced 4 rainbows, and 2 brook trout. There is nothing as relaxing as sitting on a frozen lake, catching fish, and listening to the ice popping and cracking.

Good to hear your hand is better and getting some good healing help from being able to fish again. Thanks for sharing your report.
Be safe and good luck fishing

Good for you. Rome wasn't built in a day. Ice popping down here isn't relaxing. Down here if it pops, you had better get
off of it. You probably got more exercise in that hand yesterday than you would in a week of rehab at the house.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

So glad to hear that you're back in action. I bet it was comforting knowing that you no longer had to be a spectator. Good Job Mister! Enjoy dinner.

Thanks guys,I've learned to appreciate things a whole lot more.I must confess, while I enjoy soft water fishing, hard water fishing take the top spot, though some may be the fear factor, the solitude ranks pretty high.

Water and reel time is the best therapy! Keep up the hard work, listen to your doctors, and you will be 100% before you know it!
