Default Decent rods? Jimmy Houston Panfish Special

I am looking for a few more inexpensive crappie rods to use for spider rigging. I can get 4 of these on Ebay for $80...

    Are they decent rods?
Any other preferred rods that won't break the bank?

Pinnicle rods at "grizzly jigs" are 4 for 79.00 . (12 FT). Several folks have them and say they get the job done . Give Rees Guide a p.m. and ask him about them if he does not chime in .

These are tough rods! I bought some to try spider rigging, and found that it was not really my thing. Therefore, not a lot of wasted money. For those rare times that I do spider rig or long line troll, I still have them, and they get er done!

I have 2 JH rods in 11 ft and I enjoy using them when I can. I bought one just cause I like the guy, then bought a second cause I liked the first. I have a little over $100 in the 2 with tax. You can hardly go wrong buying any 4 rods for $80 imo.

For a inexpensive rod the pinnacal is awful hard to beat for the money. Next would be the Walley marshal composite rod grizzly sells 4 for 80. I would not get in a hurry. Grizzly is about to have their annual sale. When it starts you will be able to buy the discounted stuff online or over the phone plus they offer grizzly bucks toward your purchase. May get a better deal on some better poles for same money.

The pinnacles were great very tough rods! Only reason I don't use mine any more is I wanted to go to 14' rods! They are fiberglass so not as sensitive as graphite rods!
