Thanks Jackie.....but it got up to 65 degrees....although it was low 30’s when we started. I just never bothered to take off the coat and head cover. I have fished that river a lot and have almost always caught a lot of fish...but I guess it was a perfect storm so to speak.....approaching front.....south wind....and started out with cloud cover. We were catching them so fast just did not want to take a stop for anything. There was a howling wind though....but we were down in a gorge...somewhat protected. I remember remarking to my nephew I hoped no one was on the other side of that dam in the lake with all that wind. Got home and found out a fisherman had drowned up in the lake while we were fishing. He either got knocked out of the boat or fell out...but was not wearing a PFD...sad.

Yeah the Caney is a pretty special place. Black nose crappie and trout.....a lot of fun.
