So sorry for your loss. I've had to put of my best friends down and I cried both times. My dog Tilly is a PITA, but I would miss the heck outta her if she died. I hope I go before she does. I'm a lot older so I should. I always say I'm never getting another dog again, but I always do. Get another one. It'll make you and your wife feel better.

    Default Dogs

I have had to put two down in recent times, and both hit me hard also. One was the dog of a lifetime though she was no pedigree. I haven't gotten past tat one yet and it's over a year. I feel your pain brother. They have space in your heart rent free, some are there for life. Thank God for Abbey. Here's a couple of my little girl, all 14 pounds of her. I miss her every day.

Sorry for your loss, but take comfort in the 15 years that you did enjoy his company.

I'm so sorry, losing a "little human" is so hard. It takes time. Was Ringo either (or neither) a French Bull or Boston Bull? Handsome, intelligent looking boy.
I wish you well. I had my 15 year old Pug, Lily, put down a year ago this past May and my wife and I still miss her so.
I've looked at Boston and French Bulls because they have the flat face of a Pug. I'm leaning toward another Pug.
Power to you buddy, this world can be real tough and those "simple" pleasures we come home to are the best things in life.

Sorry to hear this, Ed. I know what you are enduring. I love dogs(labs), but after I lost all three of mine within 90 days I just can't take it again. They are more family than non animal lovers will ever know.
