I also like plastics with ALOT of action...I will try anything....if anyone uses something that they think has a lot of action, then either post it up, or send me a pm where I can get it...most of the time it is the "out of the way" plastic makers that are making the next best thing! Everything evolves, technology gets better, and I don't know if there is a limit on lures or not, so I keep looking!

If you're interested in a challenge, why do you use 20# braid for crappie? In another thread, you said you used it in case you hooked a 30" walleye. Well ... why do you need 20# braid for walleye?

FWIW, I don't care how anybody fishes, but you can't say you fish for "the challenge" when you use line strong enough for tarpon.

Challenge is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you use bait doesn't mean the fish swim up to the boat and give themselves up.

The Keitech baits you favor have smell, flavor and texture cooked into them. According to my local trout regs, Keitech would be illegal because they are bait.

Well, never once stated I ONLY use minners. But I did state that I was vexatious.I know vexatious is a big word to some. Your presentations tend to stroke your ego, like you know something we don't, which I strongly doubt. Looks to me like you spend a lot of time setting on a bank blowing smoke.

I believe we need a poll. My self claimed luck vs your self claimed expertise.

My 20lb braid is the same size as 4lb Mono, so the size doesn't effect performance, I can use a thin line that is strong...I can pull jigs free from the rocks (rip rap) and cover that is all around our lake and not lose jigs or swimbaits....it is sensitive enough to feel a Crappie breathing on it!
A 30 inch gator is a trophy fish, beside the weight, it also has a nice mouthful of teeth that can shred line...PLUS, people don't realize, you also do not want to fight a big fish to fatigue, or chances are it will not survive the stress and release...I have caught a 31 incher in the river out of the lake, but never a 30 incher in the lake...My goal is to catch one, snap a pic and let it go...ALIVE!

Yep, Keitech's smell like squid, and have a oily salt taste built in...but they are an artificial lure! The main action is variable, due to the inputs of the fisherman!

The difference is, that I put out there how I fish and try to add any info that maybe someone could use....you prefer to not to....and I understood Vexatious!lol
I've actually been really good...but I have been alittle Vexatious also!

Fine and dandy, but where's "the challenge"? I don't use line that heavy for saltwater fish.

To me, there's nothing funnier than listening to a bass guy tell me he likes "the challenge" of artificial lures ... while he uses a pool cue for a rod and 80# braid.

When you explain that to the game warden, I will be there to film it.

So your complaint is that I don't share cause I don't blow smoke from the bank? I am not Intimidated.
