help with a lowerance elite 7 chirp

just installed one yesterday. Test drove it today. After finally getting of simulator and demo the DSI and fishfinder works like a champ. The GPS is another story. I got it to show the lake I was fishing once. I changed pages and when I went back to it all I can get is a map of the USA. Not much help fishing lol. If anyone can aim an old logger in the right direction i would really appreciate. The customer service is closed on week ends. I guess there's no one uses their products on weekends.
