    Default toledo bend?

Has anyone fished toledo bend lately, will this upcoming cold front help or hurt the fishing?

Attachment 8281 From Toledo Bend Texas!

I see it's your first post so I wanted to welcome you to the board. I wish I could help with info, but even though I live on Toledo Bend I have not been fishing since the water came up. However I did talk to someone today that watch as another boat was catching some really nice crappie last weekend I think. The water is probably only 15' or so there and the fish were about 8'-9' deep.

I will see if I can get you some more info about other parts of the lake, but it may be a bit. I am just busy with jigs and my son in the hospital so not a lot of time to give just now.

I was there today. I wasn't crappie fishing (bass fishing) but the lake is high...over 168'. Water on the south end was a little murky. The wind was high today and it was cold, so go prepared.
With the water this high, there should be lots of new areas to fish...Good luck!!!

The lake as of today is 168.8 and that is still over 3' low since full is 172.4 or about that.
