Default Been doing a little tying

I have been tying up some kiptail dressed jigs recently. Just thought I would put up a pic of some of them to see what you all think about them. These are the hottest color combos that we caught fish on last year in the winter and spring.
I poured up some 1/32 oz. heads on some Eagle Claw 574 long shank #4 hooks, coated the heads with a few different colors of the Pro-Tec powder paint, and added some kiptail hair in some hot colors and am now waiting on the weather to cool down here some to try them out!

LoL...Thanks fellas....I'll tell you what we fished these little jigs on a jig pole in the brush tops and did really good but we really wore them out fishing these under a small bobber with spinning reels. We found that when the fish were real shallow we could not get up close enough to the tops to fish without spooking them, so thats when we broke out the spinning reels and WOW!!!!...I caught my largest fish of the year on the white head and orange tail.

They are different without a body, but look good too. I just like feathers on my jigs because the undulate in the water and look alive even if you are barely moving it. I use hackle and marabou feathers for my tails.

Only thing that really counts though is if the fish like it then it's good, LOL!
