Y'all are killing me with those Lake pics. Do y'all live on those lakes, or very close to them? Closest good Crappie lake to me is 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Can you say "JEALOUS"?

It is the big lake (chasing "silver" fish on Lake Michigan). Unfortunately, I spend most of my time around the Lansing area with pretty lousy local fishing. Luckily, we have a cabin in Ludington near Hamlin Lake. Fantastic area for fishing variety. Warm water species in Hamlin and Pere Marquette Lakes, big lake fishing for salmoniods/trout, and the Pere Marquette River for inland trout. We spend most weekends up there. I'm really looking forward to this weekend and coming week. Crappies should be setting up in their summer pattern which is when I have my best luck.
