    Default Motor and Trolling Motor?

    I have a 1990 Mercery and wanted to know what maintanance I need to do on it? Plugs, lower unit etc. Also my TM is a Motor Guide 46# 12 or 24 volt unit. My question is, it is only set up for 12v but will using it on 24v give it more thrust power? We fish in the wind alot and just wondering if it would give us more power to fight the wind. If so how do I set it up for 24v? Thanks

    24v requires 2 batteries and YES it will increase your Tm power by leaps and bounds and the charge will last longer.
