My son has used them and had good results, on small ponds. He has tried them on the bigger lakes with mixed results, has better results with a Fluke.

He has used all of the colors that came with his kit and has had success. The ponds he fishes are on a Golf Course.

The Banjo Minnow is one of the few marketed items that I have seen that will work. It is however no better than any other type of plastic minnow bait on the market for years. The Zoom Fluke, a Sluggo, or a plain floating worm will work just as good or even better and all are much cheaper. As a once upon a time bass tournament fisherman, I have used the Fluke and Sluggo for many years with much success at certain times of the year. They also work very well in farm ponds.

Tried some a friend had, they don't do any better than a Zoom Super Fluke (which I couldn't count the number of fish I've caught on...rigged weedless/weightless...watermelon seed).

Remember....baits are created to catch fishermen, not fish!
"Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing it is not fish they are after." - Henry David Thoreau
