A "Ky Rig" (aka KY Lake Rig) .... is a bell sinker attached to the end of your line, with one or more leaders/hooks attached to the line above the sinker.
This rigging technique was made "famous" by Crappie anglers, fishing KY/Barkley Lakes ... originally used to slow troll flats & stump beds during the prespawn period. The idea was to use the sinker to "find & hold on" the stumps/brush, leaving the leaders/hooks well above the cover & still within the strike zone of the fish.

What kind of knots for KY Rig
The rig works best for me on a slow drift while keeping the sinker in contact with the bottom. I use a 1 oz sinker.
Thanks
