I just bought the new minn kota traxxis 55 thrust from gander. However, when I got it home it said you had to get a 60 amp manual breaker for warranty and safety. Gander does not sell it local.

Well, minn kota just so happens to sell them. It would have been nice to be included in the package because it is necessary for safety and warranty.

Also, make sure you buy one foot of 6 gauge marine type wire, because you will need it for the positive connection.
Cabelas has it for here for 3 bucks

and will deliver it for you.

You will also need to buy the heavy duty ring lug (2 of them). Lowes has them for $6.00 a pair.

You would think (because it is required for motor) that all of this would be together, but such is life. Just another $58 fiat dollars.
