I have to agree with BigD the $9 Black and Decker from wallyworld is a great buy and works good. From my experience stay away from the 12 volt ones they are terrible no matter what brand. Just get a good 110 volt and you will be much happier.

Hands down the American Angler Ultra Pro AC only knife. I have tried them all. It has a burnt orange and gray handle. Academy did have them. Thought Rapala was good until I tried this knife, there is no comparsion. It has more power and the cutting stroke is shorter than the Rapala. It will zoom through big fish. Those pesky rib bones, no problem. If you buy this knife you will never look back.

I've been with 2 different saltwater guides that had the gears strip out on Mister Twisters while they were filleting fish. I had my American Angler knife with me the last time as I was filleting, too. The guide borrowed my knife to finish up, and he said he liked it much more.
I have also had the gears strip out on Mister Twisters back when I used them, so I have used American Anglers ever since and have never had any gears strip out. I may have to try the Hamilton Beach next time, though.

Any one of them so long as it's got the name General Electric (GE) on it. I had one eighteen seasons. JEE.

These were caught out of Conneaut, Ohio. Ashtabula, Ohio is a great area for both species of fish.
