My best fillet knife I have used is a good old turkey carving fillet knife !!! I will never go back to anything else!!! Way more power and longer blades !!!
I like my Mr. Twister but it does not seem to have the cutting power on the larger crappie as the Americn Angler does. I still use both, but if I have lots of big fish I will use the American Angler. Maybe I need to try the piranha blades in the Mr. Twister?

We find the cheap Black and Decker electric knife at wallyworld works great. My wife filleted 1267 fish last year with two of them. When one gets hot after about 20 minutes, just switch out. They have long flexible blades.
$9.00 is hard to beat. When the blades get to dull just throw the whole thing away.

My Wife Fillets The Fish! I am a fortunate man.
i forget what brand mine is. i got it at walmart down in flordia when we were down there one winter. it's a 12volt or 110 volt knife. i like it because when i come in with fish i just hook it to my trolling motor battery and don't have to run a cord for 110.

this is a secret among us guides but you need to try the hamilton beach from target it is black and crome carving knife also the mister twister blades will fit it i clean a lot of reds and specks with them
ps the white hamilton beach knifes are not as good as the black and crome
The berkley is a POS. Took mine out of the box and it worked for 2 minutes and died. No doubt some 9 yr old in China is laughing his ass off.
Mister Twister all the way.
Have to agree, Mister Twister!:D
