Cadillac combo, anyone use them?

Does anyone use the Cadillac combo and what do you think of them ? Would they be tough enough to pull out a 3# White bass? The line inside the rod appeals to me, sure would minimize line hang ups in brush? Your opinions are appreciated. thanks
