That right there is the dangdest rig I have ever seen. A lot of thought went into that thing. I know it will be a stake driving machine. CF

Alright I'll be the dumb butt who ask the question. How do you drive the stakes in the ground? I might be missing something in your pictures, I see what holds the stakes in place but after that I'm lost. You need to come down to south Arkansas to demostrate it to some of us locals around Lake Chicot.:D:D You could make a killing down here with the dock owners. I bet bamboo would work in that rig too.

That is a man after my own heart. That is what I call having a plan and following threw. I dont place steak beads but if I did I would copy that design. You should run down to the patten office .

I don't have a stake in this (pun intended)
The white pvc pipe in the racks on the side, you will notice that there is a long small diameter pipe then a large diameter pipe. The small diameter is the handle and the large diameter goes into the tubes on the deck. The stakes are guided into the large diameter pipe in the handle, then the handle is pushed/pounded down forcing the stakes into the lake bottom.
I hope that I explained it so you can understand it. That is the way I see that it would work.:D:D
If this is wrong maybe Barry will come in to correct me.

Thanks again for your help

I got some of the ideas from the guides boat in Paris, TN. Bought the pontoon from ranger ed here on crappie.com. He puts out as many beds as anyone I know of and got some idea's from what he has done. Talked to alot of folks that have put beds out and with the help of a good friend Randall McClain this is what we came up with.
Thanks for input.
