Yes we use Rainshadow and St.Croix, plus other brands when a customer specifies which they prefer. Our main line of crappie rods are predicated on length/actions selected after fishing them first.

WOW, that is the best looking rod ive seen!!!![]()
Nice lookin rods, and I speak to both the maker and the user. Tom, if those are your first customs you're in for a treat. Rodmakers stake their reputation on their work and they don't make junk. Only had a couple in my life but loved them both. My first one was stolen, and it had my full name on it. never saw it again. Good luck and many fishes with em.
Leland, really nice work. The wood handles are a nice touch. Might have to call ya one day, 25 rods just isn't enough(I'm a sick man!!!).

HaHa LOL!!! I hear ya man....how do ya think all this got started? I only had 38 rods, 5 tackle boxes and 3 boats. Then decided to start building more. Thanks for the reps, no joke everyone that sees the red cedar handles loves them, I cant keep enough on hand, Skips Butternutt handle is darn good lookin too. They really hold up good to wear and look great for years.![]()

Nothing like a custom rod. Had one build back in the spring.. $375. Rod for catfish HEHE Perfect balance and feel a fish sneeze 30ft away.
May have to look into some 10ft crappie rods that can handle 2 to 5 oz of lead but still feel a lite crappie bite.
