    Default Crappie Setups

Hello all..new guy here. I just got done re-spooling my crappie setup and made me wonder what kind of rod/reel setups all you crappie chasers are using. If you dont mind, Id like to hear what you've got. I'll start with mine.

    My main set-up:

    Fenwick Venture 6'6" ML
    Shimano Symetre 1500
    Trilene XL 6 lb test

I'm new at this but hate to see your post go unanswered, so here goes. I, so far, have two Shakespeare 12' Crappie Hunter IM-6 Graphite light action rods and two BnM 10' rods, one graphite, the other not. All four fitted with Shakespeare Synergy TI Microspin reels with 4lb line. I really like these reels, and, at 11.95 or so like the price too. But like I said, I'm new and still studying and trying to learn all I can. Good fishing.
