I have several jars laying around in my boat....some of them are two or three years old. They still work good.

Between seasons????? I didn't realize the season ever closed. Our best fishing on the river will be from now until spring.

As long as you keep the lid tight on the jar they stay fresh for quite awhile.I put a few in a snuff can and they dried up after awhile.
