ChosenGSR, if you can figure out how to present a bait to those fish, they'll eat. Read up on a slip float set up.I use em from the boat to stay back from the fish, works well and isn't hard to rig. Maribou jigs of different colors on the bottom of the rig, tipped with a minnow and another jig or just a hook n minnow if they're finicky. Not too big a float, just big enough to to float your baits. Watch for subtle hits, cold water crappie are sometimes lethargic but will eat. When in doubt, set the hook. If you're near the bridge pilings, get as close as possible to them on at least some of your casts. Crappie sometimes want the presentation touching the structure. Maybe cast past it and retrieve it super close. Try different things and pay attention to what you do and the fish will tell you what they want. Patience Grasshopper.
