    Default Outlaw, Ozark, or Grizzly

I'm going to purchase a new fly rod type crappie pole and am down to one of these three. I fish heavy cover in the spring and need something with a soft tip but also enough backbone to lift fish straight up. Does anyone know of a website that has details on Outlaw and Ozark. Weight, etc. I prefer a 9' 6" or 10 ft. at the longest. Any input would be appreciated

I heard Outlaw went out of bussiness. B&M makes one with a fly rod style reel seat, I have a couple and really like them.

    Thumbs up Brush rods

Here's a pic of a 9-0' Eufaula "Slab Stick" M.H. power with a load on it, I designed these exclusively for spring brush fishing, if you cant find a heavy enough rod from the other 3 mentioned drop me a line.

I used to fish with ozark and broke a few this year fishing heavy cover. I went to BnM and havent had any problems. Just my 2 pennies though!

I wouldn't be afraid to try an ozark, I have a 7 1/2 foot rod by them and it is one of my favorites. grizzly has a pretty good line up, everybody likes something different as far as feel tho.

I use all three the Grizzly 3pc Brush rod is the stiffest I have hossed several hogs out of the heavy brush with this on plus its like getting two poles for one it comes with to tips a 10'6 heavy action tip and a 9'6 extra heavy tip!! It will do the job!!!
Give me a holler I can tell you all the details for any of the three brands you looking at!!

My local Bass Pro was recently selling Scientific Angler fly rods for $20. They had both 5/6 wt rods and 7/8 wts. Either would make a good crappie rod.

Besides BP, you can also find them online.

The 11' ozark weight to stiffness is by far the superior of any on the market even the new bnm ultralite. It will haul out the fat girld down here with no problem.
