I've used Bee Ready and Drift Master holders. I now use Hi-Tek and I think they are better for several reasons.

Good to hear. I looked at all of the major/popular holders but haven't had the chance to actually use any. I've never heard anything negative about any except the Mr. Crappie... One feller said that should have named them Mr. Crappy.

I'm waiting to receive them now and can hardly wait to install them and get to spider rigging in a more professional way. I'm tired of rods laying all over the place. Sigh.

I have several types of rod holders and Hi-tec by far is the best. Tough and don't get in the way on hooks sets.

I use a home brew similar to the hi-tec design. Never had a problem with poles slipping and the Hi-teks would have a better grip than mine. One thing is for sure, Callshy will treat you right.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Just received my Hi-Tek rod holders today. I've created a new thread in the main forum.

And just for Wannabe, I put pictures in there, so he wouldn't have to read so much.:D
