Interesting that the rigs talked about here are ranging from cane poles to high end St Croix and Shimano's. Something for everyone!
I like higher end equipment personally but I also know that you don't have to have it to catch crappie. I've probably caught more fish this year with my Wally Marshall / Shimano Sahara dock shooter than anything else and while it isn't really high end it's definitely not bargain basement either. Like I said something for everyone and it all works!
