I have learned that crappie are a very expensive source of protean.

I've learned that it is one of those fish that hates me. I have yet to catch a keeper out of my local lakes. I have also learned that I will carry bait when I fish for them from now on so I can at least catch something to bring home even if it isn't crappie.
