I have read somewhere, not sure where, if your boat deck layout allows you to setup in the back of the boat and "back troll" the xtra water resistance will let you go a little slower. I don't vert. fish tho.... just read about it.
good call Attica....why didnt i think of that?? i have backtrolled to slow down when long-linning but didnt think of it for the vert, thanks.
thanks for all the input from every one, made it out today for 4 hours and vert trolled. slowed the boat down to the speeds you guys suggested, and we did pretty well. thanks for the help, God bless all
