Hello all,
I am new to the site, but enjoy reading everyones posts and learn a lot from everyone. I thought I would share that, the wife, the kids and me went to BB Hoston and caught five including a nice 14" one the wife caught. All caught on Hand tied jigs with minow trailer and heavier jig with minnows late in the day, pretty rough day, I had to mix and match to get bites, but all in all a great day on the water.

Hey Josh, welcome! Glad you all caught them see you on the water...
BB Hooston has been one of my favorite bass lakes. I just recently started fishing for crappie hard. I would think the crappie would stack up back in the bayou. Does anyone fish there in the winter? I dont think I even went to Hoston last year due to the moss. Is the moss going to be bad this year?
Great first post. You caught some fish, you had the family along and you had fun. Welcome to C.C from South La.
