    Default Can't catch a break

Well I went out this morning around 11am... appears the males are starting to stage around the docks again as i hauled in 7 crappie. Seems 12"-14" were the size of the day and then 1 little 7" dink. All released since I wasn't prepared to keep any, figured i'd come back and take some home. Left for a few hours to have lunch with the GF and run a few errands... well i get back home and rain is moving in with a forecast for 2" by tomarrow with heavy wind gusts and possible hail. Looks like my fishing will be stalled for a few days as their saying we might see around 4" of rain over the next 4 days. Louisiana weather is so great... endlessly changing without notice.

Still better than snow/ice or 120 degrees for long spans! At least in my opinion. Glad you got to catch a few for fun. I'm sure you'll get on them again after the weather clears.

You're not lieing brotha... I lived up north for a few years... I'll take this over the cold and snow any day, although the heat doesn't bother me... the hotter the better.
Bring that boat over some time and we'll go get on those monster crappie.
