Thread: BEND the limit

Caught a limit Monday on the Bend, plus a few bonuses. A few good ones, but most not too big. Had a couple of blacknose in the mix. Fishing Lanan area, 3 to 6 fow, jig under cork. Threw back 8 or so, plus 5 pesky green carp up to 3 pounds, still full of eggs. Fish were definitely biting good, just weren't many big ones on the banks in the coves I fished. The first ones to bite were usually the best, so once the small ones started, it was time to move on. Would've done a little more searching if the wind had been less than hurricane force, but I guess it IS still March!

Wow never ever been to the bend,,,for some reason I just dont like driving far to fish,,but I will drive for REDS AND TROUT!!!

I am getting tired of all these Toledo Bend posts. (lol)
We had a couple of nice bull bream in our mix also this weekend. Those bream fought harder than the crappie.

They say March comes in like a lion but leaves like a lamb. I hope so cause I could use somemore fishing at TB.
