Tough Day on BB Benton 3-22
Fished from about 1 until 630 and caught only two crappie, water temp i thought was perfect, lots of people out crappie fishin it looked like, hopefully some one will post that they caught a bunch to give me some confidience about going out there again. I had to resort to bass fishing around 5 o clock, to save the day. I caught five bass inthe 13'' to 16'' range on flukes. The crappie came of a 1/32 oz. jig under a dock. Tried deep no luck tried real shallow no luck. Tough day all in all for me. It was a beautiful day though!

Huh, i guess they just ain't started on that lake good, sure would like to run down to toledo this weekend looks like they are wearing em out down there.

After i talked to you i was backing my trailor in the water and noticed my boat floating off from the dock. Since nobody else was around i had to get in the water and swim to my boat. 65 degrees is colder than it sounds.

X19,
I'm laughin' with ya! Two years ago. My boat was floatin' from the dock, and I able to run back to my truck where i keep a hundred foot rope, grabbed a pipe wrench and was able to throw it over the boat and pull the boat back. I did get in the water THIS year at the end of Feb. cause I was stuck on a stump in a foot water and couln't power out with the big motor. Got my push pole now.:D

Dang X19, that stinks! when i put in, i left my back strap on and i had to reach in an unbuckle it and the bottom portion stayed with the trailer and so when i pulled out it was gone i started to wade in after it but i got about thigh high and relized i better try snagging it first, i was able to snag it, so after that being said, i bet you were breathing really deep and fast after that plunge, so did ya dive in or ease in?
65 deg is cold especially in Mar no matter how warm it is.

X19, just call me, I'm right around the corner.

I just went down the ladder at the end of the dock pretty quick. I only had to swim about 50ft so it was'nt to bad.
